Novation Keyboard Availability Update

At long last, Novation tells createdigitalmusic their new X-Station keyboards will be available. US Availability is now this week for the 25-key model and end of February for 49-key and 61-key models. To see what the fuss about, read my article from earlier this winter on the X-Stations' great control surface / integrated synth / audio interface features. It's an ideal complement to a computer music system, especially now if it's actually shipping.

Has anyone seen an image of either the 39- or 61-key models? I can’t wait to check them out….

isn’t Novation out of business?? I got an A-station for $199 CDN brand new ($799 retail). The rep said Novation was out of business.

Novation was purchased by Focusrite in a friendly takeover (their offices are blocks from each other). What had happened was Novation went without a North American distributor for a short time; that’s now American Music Supply and you should see their stuff back in the channel in a big way. In fact, I think their US/Canadian popularity should finally start to catch up with the UK.
I’ll post images tomorrow; Novation PR asked I hold them until the official embargo deadline.
