I've been listening to video-game soundtracks most of the week, and I don't think Nobuo Uematsu was nominated for a Grammy... :grin That said - I do have diverse tastes in music, so perhaps I'll sample a track or two from ITMS from that acoustic album... I'm personally a fan of Jesse's jazz influences. Of course, could just be taste. I think they tend a lot more to the rock side (big AC/DC fans!) than a lot of people realize. I'll be covering some more underground stuff soon if that's more your speed. Good to hear what's on the radar and well, well under it, both, at least for me! At that time I was thoroughly unimpressed by their sound, music, and performance. Perhaps their music just wasn't "for me", or perhaps they've gotten much better over the past 2 years...?
