I keep playing, and I can still hear him. And then, eventually, artists won't release each actual track, but just the concept of each track ("should sound like a duck in heat") and a suggestion for lyrics ("bitch about your life--here!"). And then, artists will just release visual squiggles that listeners will have to interpret with whatever musical implement they have at hand. They may need a few friends to fill out the parts, but it might be some new kind of get-together: a group of "musicians" "play" "live!". Happy planet. Yes, of course. And then, eventually, artists won’t release each actual track, but just the concept of each track (”should sound like a duck in heat”) and a suggestion for lyrics (”bitch about your life–here!”).
