*phantom power for Mics (though I don&#039;t see how XLRs would be mount on the case that small so it must be done with a breakout cable or a non-standard use of TRS).

*More sampling rates - though I wonder if any of these new devices&#039; analog electronics can actually take advantage of higher than 16bit/44.1k rates? I guess that&#039;s why there&#039;s SPDIF on it.
