There's the In/Out/Thru from the original, plus a MIDI Poly Chain Out (just like on the Poly Evolver Keyboard) for chaining additional Evolvers or hooking up the Poly Evolver rack. That's got me excited. Apart from that, the six buttons below the display are dedicated to the 16x4 sequencer (like in the original). I especially like the control layout -- it flows well, with dedicated controls for noise/external input, plus feedback, distortion, and delay. Artfully done. The addition of the headphone output and a proper power switch will also be welcomed by owners of the original module, too. At least half his gear is worth having... nice to see some new competition for mono/polys and prophets.
