4x LaCie - d2 Quadra Hard Disk (eSATA 3Gb/s, FireWire 800, FireWire 400 und USB 2.0, max 1.5 TB each) Editor's Note: ther is a rack to hold up to 5 units, this looks kinda unstable on the pic)

correction, that is not a 002 interface...reznor has way to much money, i do believe that's a Command 8 interface and if that's so he has a Pro Tools HD setup in those g5's of his..

as far as mobile sound booths are concerned....perhaps the interior of the front and back cover could be lined with sound foam, providing the ability to construct some sort of acoustic panel.

i wish we could figure whats all in there

Hey Matrix,

Glad to hear you're liking it!

The blanket thing really does work; I'm just glad to see this "cheap trick" employed by someone who has the cash to, like, carry a soundproof booth around if they really wanted to. ;-)

Peter

"(Check out the cheap-and-quick recording tip: use a blanket or curtains to make an impromptu recording booth.)"

Hey, I think I just read about that last night... I your book! ;) Finally getting around to reading it again. The first chapter on sound was excellent BTW. Second chapter on choosing your tools I felt pretty versed. The third chapter on setting you your equipment, where I picked up this tip, had a few new things to me. I'm looking forward to digging into chapter four tonight. I'll be putting up another post with my thoughts when done. Great book Peter.
