That photo looks just like a section of one of my bookshelves, EXCEPT, it is missing "Real World Digital Audio"! :-)

Based on the reviews, particularly the Matrixsynth blog, I will be ordering it tonight.

Just a note of encouragement... And I look forward to reading this book when it arrives.

Keep up the great work,

Composing Interactive Music is an interesting read . . . it's definitely a window into one person's world, so you'd want to translate it to your own ideas, but it's worth picking up. I got mine for something like $20, not $100, too, so that makes this an easier decision!

How is Composing Interactive Music? Normally I would buy the book on the title alone, but $100 is a step price.

Like the Library Anything idea -- a bit like last.fm for book. I'm also thinking of doing something like that right here.

Hey Peter,

It would be cool to see a list of your music/audio/programming/etc books on a website like http://www.librarything.com/ or something along those lines. I love books too.

Even though geared towards a specific app, Kurk Kurasaki's Power Tools For Reason describes the basics and theories of music production, then applies them to Propellerheads Reason. That book rocked my brain and got me thinking about Reason and computer production in new ways. The techniqies I learned could be applied to other situations, virtual or real.
