I wonder how much quantizing they ended up doing on that, also I don't know the theme song very well (as much as I played halo 2 when it first came out), but I'm assuming everything that was played was written out...? The violin performance would be far more impressive if it had some improv. Too bad that interview didnt contain anything really useful, such as the interfaces and equipment they were using.... There's a concert performance video in the wild with the same ensemble as a 6 piece...more percussionists, as I recall. I think the violinist is a Julliard student; There's an interview with her on Kotaku, but I can't be arsed googling it up. It seemed evident that it was the first time the Kotaku guy had actually talked to a real girl. It’s a four piece…the bassist is visible in other camera angles. I still haven't played that game because it was delayed for so long on the Mac. Played a little of it on an old roommates XBox, though.
