On the other hand, I think we've concluded that more control is better, so I'm very happy to be on a dedicated server. Painful at first, but should be worth it in the end. We decided in the end we really needed a dedicated server -- but this seems to have revealed some major issues somewhere in the site itself that we think may have been masked by the shared servers.
