Of course, why buy a specialized (erm, imaginary) device for this, when your guitar amp will happily pick up radio signals for you?

So you can modulate and even sequence the tuner between your mates' pirate radio stations. Sheesh, man, what kind of dorkbot are you?

{I presume you'll be at tomorrow's meeting. Herself gets to go, but not me, boo.}

I saw him play at the Spark Festival in Minneapolis about a month ago, and it's an interesting show.

@Metro- he seems to be able to audition and reject imperfect samples as he goes, based on what I saw. He'll grab some pieces that don't quote fit but immediately resample until he gets one that sounds good.

The main vocal samples I heard during the show were a perfectly timed "Will Smith" and "dot com."

The short answer is, there's a *lot* going on in that Max patch for him to manipulate. I think most of the stuff he does just involves landing right and working it out as he goes ... performances tend to run at least 30 minutes.

did I notice an ear monitor?

is that hooked up to the radio?

that video was pretty cool; but i'm curious how he can stop on a dime on a perfect quote like "lets get it started"...
