This is exactly what Nebula HS Reverb does. You lose some control, and the CPU usage is high, but the sound quality is superb, very close to the original space or gear sampled. No problem here. What you should have is an RAR file, not EXE, so I'm guessing something else went wrong. (I'm using ALTools / ALZip for RAR decompression; 7zip should also work...)
