Nick Batt at SonicState does a very decent 14 minute video review of the TENORI-ON. Apparently the guys at SS were given access to a test unit for a few days (HELLO - Peter Peck at Yamaha - just where exactly did CDM end up in this pecking order? (sorry, I just couldn't resist that.)

While visiting my mom in London, I got a chance to use the Tenori-On yesterday. I admire Iwai's ideas, and he certainly has guts to release something this new. My only real gripe was that it wasn't really easy to change layers/blocks, and so it seemed a bit difficult to use with existing midi set-ups.

It would have been cool if it could change to different blocks or patterns on the beat, for instance.
