		<description>Well, Audacity has the advantage of being open source and running on Linux and Mac. But I find Audacity hopelessly clunky to use. The interface and editing functions here would make me choose Wavosaur hands-down as a free tool on Windows.</description>

		<description>I like how you can store effect racks. Now I can easily store my mastering rack.

Support for ogg and flac would be handy though (and the ability to record your windows mixer stereo out, now I need to keep audacity around for ripping dialog out of movies)</description>

you need to specify your VST path in options&#62;editor configuration, then it works as you'd expect it to.

happy to see a batch editing function on wavosaur.. i'll be happier when it's fully script-able a la sound forge/audition.
