Just wondering if anyone used single Euphonix MC MIX with ProTools HD 7.4 and managed to control more than first 32 tracks in the session?

I like the size of these things. Something that Makie and Digidesign never got quite right. Just some faders and transport controls. This is perfect - if it works.

[...] What’s especially interesting is you may be able to use one of these. [...]

My guy at Sweetwater confirmed that you can use these together or separately - you can combine up to 3 MC Mix units with one MC Control, and you can remove the endcaps to dock them together. Apparently it can use HUI with software that doesn't support their proprietary EuCon protocol.

Just got the new Sweetwater "Select" catalog in the mail today and these two controllers where on the last page. They aren't listed on the Euphonix website yet though. They look pretty sweet although being a PT user, I am not sure they would be any better than the command 8, or a Mackie control which are pretty much in the same price range.

I wouldn't want to be in the business of selling touch screen interfaces in 2008 with so many rumors floating around about Apple announcing a multi-touch tablet like device that's slightly bigger than an iphone.
