Sorry, Peewee ... why does it matter how long you've been a recording engineer? We've got the folks involved in the project who did the actual recording. And wouldn't that much experience in recording suggest that you can deeply impact the sound of something based on how it's constructed and recorded? There have been various cases of classical-style instruments constructed of alternative instruments.

I have been a recording engineer for over 30 years..and I guarantee that what you hear are mainly traditional instruments.
The instruments that we see probably do play and some might even sound similar to real instruments.....but that's not what we hear!
Congratulations on conning the public at large, who will mostly believe everything that they see, read or hear.

So they weren't actually using a windshield wiper as a bow, like they show in the ad. I thought the universe was going to implode!

I finally watched the interviews. I laughed when the composer was talking about credibility... I ran into the same thing with my bike composition where people thought it might be too polished to sound authentic. I'm pretty convinced now, although the visual sync doesn't do the music justice + I'm still dying to see footage of the actual recording session.
