I feel like there is a signature to "cold music", something about not caring for the middle range and just paying attention to the very high and low timbre sounds. The guitar worried me just before it came in, but it was done so sensitively I think it's a natural progression. Also: that glass squeak solo is incredible. This is really beautiful.
