Off-Topic: Flight of the Conchords Video Asks, Do You Like Ladies?

In fairness, this isn’t really off-topic. The connection of ladies to music is clear here. There are, too, the fantastic Ladies of CDM — few in number, yes, but mind-bogglingly awesome in quality. (Ladies, feel free to roar here.) And, of course, for those of you who are not ladies yourselves but an aficionado of ladies, it’s clear that, like roller skates, synths and music are part of the essential lady-attracting formula.

The bad news I have to break for Flight of the Conchords fans:you’ll be waiting until well into 2009 for a new season.

Side note: CDM loves New Zealand.

Them dudes don’t know what they are getting themselves into. Chics are all fun and games until they spend their first weekend at your place and you spend Saturday morning and afternoon twisting knobs, writing basslines and patterns…indeed you will be neck deep into excrement.
And chics who make music are even more crazy. Regardless I cant live with em and I cant live w/o them.

John, to be honest, I am very surprised that FOTC got so popular in the US. The humour is so very Kiwi that I just didnt think that other countries would really dig it. Which they apparently do due to thier massive success.
I think that they are halarious, but thats becuase I am responding to the huge amounts of kiwiana-social comment thats in there, having grown up in NZ.
Glad you guys dig the NZ flava ! FOTC + Concord Dawn + Antix FTW ! ! !! :)
