Peter, I second the comment about how the hell you use VST’s in Linux… I’ve read a bit about it, but seems like it would be a good subject for a meaty CDM How-To post.

I would kill to run Absynth and/or Guitar Rig on my Ubuntu laptpo…

@Chris: Look, I’m fond of animals. I think there are far worse ways to exploit seals than post images of them. Minazo was great — his second life as an Internet meme I think only speaks to the affection for this creature, so relax, okay?

Knut is also fantastic; I may go to the zoo when I’m Berlin next month, and then the zoo and electronic music themes really *will* converge.

And yes, there probably is a way to put the two together. I’m going to take these gripes as an excuse to make a VST of the calls of our new baby walrus at the New York Aquarium.

Yes, please let us in on however you’ve gotten VSTs to work – I know there are a few options, but some seem out of date and I haven’t bothered to try any.

there is no native linux version : its only a vst .dll file for windows - get it (along with my others) HERE !! although, I'd be interested to here how peter gets on with whatever linux adapter he's using - go on, give us a clue peter !!
