As a lover or remix contests, I have always hoped that more bands would host them. Traditionally, only the bigger artists have been able to pull this off. So, to help all the smaller and emerging artists host a remix contest, there's a new widget that we've developed called the Remix Wizard. Any band can grab and customize the widget, and let fans make remixes either by downloading stems or making remixes in the widget's online sequencer. Now, everybody can get involved, and when remixes are finished, they're published to the widget for others to play, vote on, and share! It's free for any artist to grab at remixwizard.mixmatchmusic.com

Not sure if it makes a huge difference, but the audion contest counts public votes only in selecting 5 of the 10 finalists; the other 5 and the eventual winners are chosen by Beatport and Spectral Sound respectively.

I am the guy who appears in the video in the guitar rig contest playing that thing close to a violin (although it's not a violin, but a viola, once it is a but larger, tunes a 5th lower and has some different technical issues), and I am processing my instrument with a patch that I've designed in max 5 to control guitar rig 3 parameters through an attack tracking of an analyzer object. Has most of you guys here in this blog that I read daily deal with instruments of electronic music, and also max 5 and guitar rig 3, I would suggest you to take a look to my video which I leave the link here

if you're interested I can also put the code of the patch I created in max in here so that you can take a look, and eventually discuss it
