For the people commenting on the DIY scene in France it’s very much an underground thing.

This relates to any and all “scenes” pretty much.

Basic components are hard to find, and if you do find them locally hey tends to be super expensive. These things are changing in this day and age thanks to the internet but still…it’s not so much that people aren’t do it yourselfers ( if that’s even a word ) when it comes to say home improvement; but if “creativity” and “experimentation” come into play that’s a whole different game.

DIY is something that also comes from the culture.

for the person asking about the Handmade music font name I don’t believe there is such a “font”. It looks hand written to me (look at the variations between the As).

Well, I’m french and just starting building an arduinome. But it’s true that there are not a lot of exhibition, fairs, DiY workshop… That’s a shame and I hope to participate myself into changing this in the near future…
