wtf, this is the best they could come up with?

Did they not even look at Robert Henke's monodeck II which had clip COLORS too (since it used rgb leds)?

Am I the only one who like to work on more than one channel at a time? i.e. dedicated eq and sends for each channel plus some spare dedicated controls on each channel to use for fx specific stuff.

I also like to jam quickly with solo/mute. I hope their buttons are really responsive...I think the implementation on the Korg Zero8 is better (toggle switch)

It would have been cool if they made this in modules:
1. clip matrix
2. master controls
3. track controls/virtual mixer

This way I could piece together a double wide matrix, full 16 channel midi mixer with sends/eq and just one master section.

multiple clips? on the max website I see that Live 8 is on it's way. surely will have ability to trigger several clips at once on one track I guess.

this device looks good but I am not sure about the price. it is an empty mpc, so I hope it will be not that expensive.

Very neat..
But i said before..
Would it be too hard to drop three knobs on each channel so we could control eqing?
Or doesn't anybody eq anymore?

The 3 colours are unique, but I do the same the same with a monome, with 4 states, off, on, 1/4 note flashing, 1/8th note flashing.

I am really curious as to what the left/right up/down thing does. If you go right, do you have access to more than 8 tracks? What happens to the faders in that case?
