I presented the multitouch table with Nathanaël during the workshop in the afternoon (had to leave early because I work and we had a lift to bring back the kit). I don't consider myself ubercool/arrogant nor did I get that impression from anyone else... It's mostly about sharing ideas/works in progress -and plenty of that happened-, for free. This is culture Did you see the plogue/chiptune presentation?? That's pure love and dedication for the art. No need to make anything more humble, it's simply going to be better next time! I saw a lot of hardworking and impressive enthusiasts, many of whom traveled a long way to play for free. Might i ask why this was posted at 8 in the evening? The show was still on, and ran for another 6 hours, with some amazing performances over the night. There's little point in trashing community events, if you're dissatisfied, there's nothing added by complaints. Put together your own event and improve on the past! Guys, stop taking electronic music lightly, and limit yourself to crappy visuals, oh sorry ...I meant abstract and creative graphic patterns and tracks that lack any kind of musical value. Yes, it's digital music, it's MUSIC. For fucks sake, if you do get on stage ...for self-promotion of else, get your shit together. Check up of levels, frequencies, etc. so that the audience doesn't lose the hearing after that. This must have been most cultureless event I've ever been to. No artistic context of any kind, just some dudes that promote their mediocre products, and leave the room after their part ( oops, performance is over). Support music, support colleagues, engage the crowd. Take it to the next level. Next time, just make a humble flyer, don't beef it up till it bleeds. People have high expectations when you do so.
