On point 5. above, let's get real: there's no way this music would have ever appealed to a culture who only consumed tea and biscuits. All good fun, but let's be careful when kids are involved.

Audio Copy/Paste would really make this great. So many great sound design tools on the iPhone, would make things more streamlined.

Impressive app and demo performance. This looks more powerful than Figure but probably requires a greater skill level.

I honestly believe that the future of music making is on portable devices such as the Iphone or Ipad, this application is great! But I am still waiting for the developer that will push things to the new level, once you have used touch screen instead of a mouse there is no going back. I think this would be the next step on electronic music production.

what a dummy I am ... just figured that the step sequencer length can be adjusted from 1 to 16 steps, and then further modified by factor .5 to 2. This thing rocks my world!!!!

It's really pretty cool, especially the ability to load your own sounds. I was a little disappointed by the loop range feature, which they say you can use to create poly-rhythms. All it does is adjust the speed in 0.5 increments from factor 0.5 to factor 2. Not like you could tweak the number of steps or anything.
That said, the mixer and other options are definitely well thought out, and really turn this into a performance tool!

I only met Moog once (Atlanta, 1996 or so), but have always held him as a model for genius: brilliantly accomplished, but modest, friendly, and gracious in person.

Peter,

Thanks for helping get the story out there. Many people have visited the old Moog factory in the cotton mill building. If you did, you surely saw the large photo of Bob that was signed by almost everyone in the world (from Herbie Hancock to Deadmau5). If you were there in May (while I was working there), you might have seen a copy of "Abou Ben Adhem" printed out and displayed under the photo.
