About Jo Ardalan

As a young troublemaker raised in Miami, Florida, Jo Ardalan was exposed to the rhythms of South Beach 24/7, the electro, the latin, the industrial, the hip hop. She (illegally) started working for a recording studio at age 15 and has since followed her passion of recording and sound design to Los Angeles.
In LA, Jo worked for Waxploitation, an artist/producer management company and later worked for Native Instruments , the leading software synthesis company. During this time she was also doing freelance sound design for Tom Salta, editing for Chris Vrenna and engineering for Peter Reardon, now owner of Shadow Hills Industries. With this experience Jo saw the potential behind branding the software with the artist for the benefit of both the artist and the software.
After a few re-reads of “Losing My Virginity” by Richard Branson, Jo developed Fixed Noise into a community based company, dedicated to the artists who develop the software and the artists who use it! Jo has since decided that unlike Branson, she will not manufacture Fixed Noise Cola, but as for Fixed Noise undies, soon.
Aside from Fixed Noise, Jo consults other entertainment and technology based businesses in the Southern California area. She has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Southern California.
